I’m probably best known for a band I started many years ago called Arbouretum. We’ve released five official albums, four of them on the Thrill Jockey label, and toured extensively in support of them. At this time, I’m taking a break from playing with the band and looking to get my own solo project going. Since the band’s music has been influenced a lot by British Isles folk music, it seems only natural to me that I try my hand at an album primarily featuring these kinds of traditional songs. – See more at:
